City Announces Hours of Operation Change

Shawnee, Oklahoma, April 3, 2024 – In response to citizen requests for extended service hours, the City of Shawnee is excited to announce changes to the hours of operation for City offices, starting Monday, May 6, 2024. City offices will open earlier and close later, Monday through Thursday.

These extended hours will allow the City of Shawnee to better accommodate the needs of our citizens, while we ensure that essential services remain accessible to everyone. In parallel, City offices will close early on Friday to provide our hard-working staff with a well-deserved break, as well as to incentivize the recruitment of new talent.

The City of Shawnee understands the importance of maintaining the same level of service during these upcoming changes. Starting May 6, 2024, the new hours of operation for the City of Shawnee will be as follows:

City Hall:  Monday through Thursday, 7:30 a.m. – 5:30 p.m. and Friday, 7:30 a.m. – 11:30 a.m.

Court:  Monday through Thursday, 7:30 a.m. – 5:00 p.m. and Friday, 7:30 a.m. – 11:00 a.m.

Utility Billing:  Monday through Thursday, 7:30 a.m. – 5:00 p.m. and Friday, 7:30 a.m. – 11:00 a.m.

Permit Desk:  Monday through Thursday, 7:30 a.m. – 4:00 p.m. (now open during lunch) and Friday, 7:30 a.m. – 11:30 a.m.
